Calibre Engenium is a leading specialist railway engineering and project management company with a number of large scale rail construction projects and exciting plans for further expansion.

We are currently recruiting for a number of major projects and seeking an Estimator to work on our high profile projects.

The role involves:
  • Ensure understanding and maintain commitment with respect to the statutory and corporate responsibilities for Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental.
  • Carry out your duties as required in Calibre's Occupational Safety, Health, Environmental and policies and associated procedures, including:
  • Identify safety and environmental hazards in the working environment and eliminate or control them where it is within the scope of your ability and authority.
  • Report safety and environmental hazards that you are unable to eliminate or control to your immediate Supervisor/Manager for action.
  • Report any incident or injury that you are involved in or are aware of to your immediate Supervisor.
  • To complete all aspects of estimating on the project.
  • Develops detailed work breakdown structures, establishes and prepares estimates, maintains historical estimate database and assesses risks.
To be successful in this role, the applicant must possess:
  • Entry-level in an engineering degree or equivalent.

  • One or two years general experience in engineering/construction.

  • Background in earthworks, structural or track would be ideal.
